Geosciences' Cloud Apps

You can get access to most of Geosciences' licensed and managed software in our computer labs from anywhere! Could Desktops and Apps provide access to software applications from any device – laptops, desktops, tablets, and smartphones – from any location at any time utilizing Citrix technology.

Getting Started

To start using our Cloud Desktops and Apps, you simply need to download and install Citrix Workspace (one time only installation) and then login using your FAU NetID and password. 

Steps:

1. Install Workspace app (formerly Receiver)
2. Login
3. After logging in, click on the Geosciences Desktop icon OR the Apps button for individual software programs provided by OIT

Available Cloud Apps include the following software on the Geosciences Desktops.  2D/3D graphics:
