Services
The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation for the determination of nutrients, major ions, metals, and stable isotopes of water. We are also set up to perform basic soil analyses including, soil particle size, pH, electrical conductivity, and percent organic matter (via loss on ignition). With the arrival of our newest faculty member, Dr. Tiffany Roberts-Briggs, we are pleased to now also offer a determination of both grain size distribution and carbonate composition of granular sediments.

Education
We are committed to providing hands-on training to FAU students and are happy to offer training sessions and hourly user rates to graduate students interested in running their own analyses. Training and hourly use fees can be found on our price list. For additional information please contact us. We also welcome inquiries and suggestions for incorporating the lab's resources into classes, undergraduate research, and outreach projects.
